Privacy notice.

Who controls your data

APERIO WORKS LTD.

APERIO WORKS LTD, trading as The Colour Circle Project, is the controller. Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to hello@thecolourcircleproject.com.

What we use

Order, artwork and site information.

We may use your name, email, telephone number, delivery and billing details, order choices, payment and transaction references, correspondence, and basic security or device logs. Stripe processes card details; we do not receive your full card number.

Your photograph is processed on your device while you design. The photograph, approval proof, print master and exact settings are uploaded only when you continue to checkout and give permission. The browser preview performs file checks but does not upload the photograph for hidden visual inspection.

Why we use it

To fulfil the contract and run the service.

We use order information to take payment, create and deliver the artwork, send confirmation and provide support because it is necessary for our contract. We keep accounting and transaction records to meet legal obligations. Limited technical and correspondence data supports security, fraud prevention and service improvement under our legitimate interests. We rely on consent where required, including the artwork upload and optional marketing or non-essential tracking.

Who receives it

Services that support SCREENPRINT.

We share relevant data with service providers such as Stripe for payments, Artsy Image for production and delivery, Resend for transactional email, and our website hosting and secure storage providers. We may disclose information to professional advisers, insurers or public authorities where reasonably necessary or legally required.

Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where required, we use an approved safeguard or another lawful transfer mechanism.

Optional tracking

Analytics and advertising are your choice.

If you allow Analytics, Google Analytics receives visit and purchase information. If you allow Advertising, the Meta Pixel shares page visits, basket additions, checkout starts and confirmed purchases, including order value and currency, with Meta to measure and improve our Facebook and Instagram ads. Meta also receives browser and connection information such as IP address, page URLs and cookie identifiers, and may match activity to your Meta account.

We do not send your uploaded photographs, artwork captions, contact details or card details as tracking event fields. Automatic advanced matching is off. Optional tracking stays off until you choose it. Your choices are remembered for six months; you can change or withdraw them using Cookie settings. Rejecting optional tracking does not prevent you from designing or ordering. See Meta’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy.

How long we keep it

No longer than necessary.

Unpaid artwork packages expire after 24 hours. Paid artwork files are normally retained for up to 90 days to make and support the order, then deleted. Order, payment and accounting records are kept for the period required for tax, legal and dispute purposes. Correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably needed.

Your choices and rights

You remain in control.

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, and may withdraw consent without affecting earlier processing. Email us to make a request. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Necessary cookies and local storage keep core features working. We will ask for consent before using non-essential analytics or marketing technologies where required.
